About Retrieving a Creo Direct Part in Creo Parametric
When you retrieve a part in Creo Parametric that contains work done in Creo Direct, one of the following things happen:
Part existed in Creo Parametric and then work was done in Creo Direct—The View Changes dialog box opens listing the changes that were made in Creo Direct. You review and then accept or reject each change. The features that resulted from work done in Creo Direct are listed in a Creo Direct group in the Model Tree.
Part is newly created in Creo Direct—The features that resulted from work done in Creo Direct are listed in a Creo Direct group in the Model Tree.
A model that contains failed features can be modified in Creo Direct, and operations performed in Creo Direct can reference the geometry of the failed features.  If the model is then retrieved in Creo, the changes that are accepted and that reference the geometry of the failed features, will produce children of failed features.
