To Transform Parting Surfaces
1. Perform one of the following steps:
◦ On the Mold tab, click Parting Surface. The Parting Surface tab opens.
◦ On the Cast tab, click Transform Tools in the Parting Surface Design group.
2. Create a parting surface. Alternatively, you can redefine an existing parting surface.
3. Perform any of the following steps to transform the volume:
◦ Use the Move or Offset command to move or offset a surface, respectively.
◦ Use the Modify Analytic command to modify the base dimensions that drive the analytic surface.
◦ Use the Substitute command to substitute or replace a quilt with another quilt.
◦ Use the Edit Round or Edit Chamfer command to modify the rounds or chamfers, respectively.
4. Click OK.
