About Cutting out Reference Parts from a Workpiece or a Die Block
You must create or split volumes before creating mold components. In case of splitting volumes, you must cut out the reference part from the workpiece or die block. When the reference part is cut out, a volume is created at its place. You can split this volume into separate volumes to make the necessary components later.
When you cut out the reference parts, by default, all the workpieces or die blocks are selected. You can manually select the workpieces or die blocks to cut out the required reference parts.
