To Set Up the Start Configuration File Using the Creo Modelcheck Configuration Tool
1. Click adjacent to Configuration settings in the left pane of the ModelCHECK Configuration Tool dialog box.
2. Click adjacent to Start files.
3. Select the required start file or click Create new file to create a new start configuration file. A table listing the start file configuration options and their values appears in the upper right pane of the ModelCHECK Configuration Tool dialog box. The lower part of the right pane is used to add new start options to the start configuration file.
 
* . Creo ModelCHECK dynamically updates all boxes listing start configuration files in the ModelCHECK Configuration Tool dialog box with the name of the new file.
4. To add a new option to the configuration file right-click in the upper pane and select Add Row. A new row is added to the upper pane. Now use the items in the lower pane to fill in values for the different fields for the new row.
a. Select an item type from the drop-down list.
b. Based on your selection of item type additional fields are displayed. Specify appropriate values for each field.
c. Click Add Item.
5. Select an option to see and edit its definition in the lower table.
6. Edit the configuration options and their definitions using the boxes. Succeeding items in the definition automatically change according to the current setting.
To change a configuration option, change the definition, and click Add Item.
To add a configuration option, click Add row, add the definition, and click Add item.
Remove items to delete configuration options.
Move items up or down as required.
7. Click Apply or Save as to save your changes to the current file or a different file, respectively.
