About Global Attributes for Creo Modelcheck Gatekeeper
For the Gatekeeper to function you must define the following global attributes (referred to as instance-based attributes or IBAs in older releases of Windchill) in Windchill:
MODEL_CHECK (string)—The date and time that Creo ModelCHECK was last run.
MC_ERRORS (integer)—The number of errors found.
MC_CONFIG (string)—The name or names of the configuration file or files used.
MC_MODE (string)—The mode in which Creo ModelCHECK was run; Interactive, Regenerate, Save, Batch, MC_VDA, or MC Regen.
MC_VERIFIED (Boolean)—The verification of the model, whether modified or not since the last run of Creo ModelCHECK. You can set it to Yes or No. Check in fails when this attribute is set to No, No specifies that the model has changed after you ran Creo ModelCHECK .
For details, refer to the topic “Configuring Modelcheck in Windchill” in the Windchill guide Using Creo Parametric with PTC Windchill.
Ensure that you have enabled the creation of model parameters with the same names as the above Windchill attributes. Check that these attributes are updated in the CAD documents when Creo ModelCHECK is run on the models after they are modified. You can lock these attributes to prevent their modification in Windchill. If you lock these attributes, they are not available for editing in Windchill and are read-only. As a result, they are driven from Creo Parametric and are modified only in Creo ModelCHECK.
