To Review Violation Details for a Pair of Quilts or Components
1. Click Analysis > Electrical Clearance. The Clearance and Creepage dialog box opens.
2. Click A quilt-component pair.
3. Click Info > Quilt/Component Pair Violations. The Quilt/Component Pair Violations dialog box opens. It displays the results of the most recent Clearance and Creepage Analysis between two components or two quilts. The dialog box has the following areas:
Net 1 and Net 2—If the two quilts or components are members of any nets, the names of the nets appear. The names of components or quilts for the start and end of the violation path are also displayed.
Clearance—The threshold distance for the clearance analysis is displayed. If a violation is reported in the clearance analysis, the violation distance is also displayed.
Creepage—The threshold distance for the creepage analysis is displayed. If a violation is reported in the creepage analysis, the violation distance is also displayed.
4. Select a violation path from the violations table under Clearance or Creepage.
The selected violation path appears as a thick, red line in the graphics window.
The surfaces at which the path starts and where the path ends are highlighted.
All other paths in violations table appear in red in the graphics window.
5. Click Zoom In. The selected violation path appears in the graphics window.
6. Click Info. A violation report for the pair of quilts or components appears in an INFORMATION WINDOW.
