About Annotation Planes Gallery
The gallery on the Annotate tab in the Annotation Planes group displays the annotation orientations in a model. When you move the pointer over the annotation orientations in the gallery, the annotation grid plane turns green in the graphics area. To define an active annotation orientation you can select an annotation orientation from the gallery.
The gallery displays the annotation orientations that you defined in the model and the annotation orientations pre-defined in the system; namely, flat-to-screen, front, back, top, bottom, left, and right. You can control the display of annotation orientations in the gallery.
When you right-click an annotation plane in the gallery, a menu opens that allows you to perform the following operations:
Set—Sets the selected annotation orientation as active annotation orientation.
Remove from Gallery—Removes the annotation orientation from the gallery. To reinstate, click the dialog box launcher on the Annotate tab. In the ANNOTATION PLANE MANAGER dialog box that opens, select the check box in the Gallery Display column corresponding to the annotation orientation to be reinstated.
New—Opens the ANNOTATION PLANE DEFINITION dialog box that allows you to define a new annotation orientation.
Edit—Opens the ANNOTATION PLANE DEFINITION dialog box that allows you to edit the annotation orientation.
Delete—Deletes the annotation orientation.
