To Search for a Detail Option in 3D Mode
1. Click File > Prepare > Model Properties. The Model Properties dialog box opens.
2. Click change in the Detail Options line. The Options dialog box opens.
3. Click Find. The Find Option dialog box opens.
4. In the Type keyword box, type a search string.
 
* You can use wildcard characters in the search string. For example,
a—If you type the letter a, Creo Parametric lists all the Detail options that contain the letter a.
a*—If a is followed by an asterisk, Creo Parametric lists the drawing options that begin with the letter a.
*a—If a is preceded by an asterisk, Creo Parametric lists the drawing options that end with the letter a.
5. To search options in a specific category, in the Look in list select a category.
6. If required, select the Search descriptions check box to search for the string in the option descriptions.
7. Click Find Now. Options that match the string or contain the string are listed under Choose option.
8. Click an option in the Choose option list.
9. To set a value for the selected option, in the Set value box select a value from the list or type a different value.
10. Click Add/Change. The configuration option and its value appear in the list displayed in the Find Option dialog box. A green status icon confirms the change.
11. Click Close. The Find Option dialog box closes.
12. To apply your changes click Apply in the Options dialog box.
13. Click Close to close the Options dialog box.
