To Display Tool Path for an NC Sequence
You can display the cutter path and a simulation of the tool prior to completing the NC sequence, to verify the tool path and make a visual check for interference with fixtures and model features. All simulated tool dimensions represent the parameters defined during tool setup. All tools except turning appear three dimensional in isometric or trimetric views.
The following options are available on tab of the NC sequence you are creating after you define the mandatory elements for the sequence:
—Display the tool path on the screen and view the contents of the CL data file using the PLAY PATH dialog box. For more information on using the PLAY PATH dialog box, follow the link under See Also.
—Access the NC Check functionality or the Material Removal tab to view the simulation of material removal as the tool is cutting the workpiece.
—Access the Gouge Check functionality, which is available only for milling NC sequences.
