To Copy NC Sequences Using Advanced Reference Configuration
1. From the Model Tree, select the sequence or sequences to be copied.
2. Click Manufacturing > Copy. The sequence is copied to the clipboard.
3. Click Manufacturing > Paste Special. The Paste Special dialog box opens.
4. Select the Advanced reference configuration in the Paste Special dialog box and click OK. The Advanced Reference Configuration dialog box opens. This dialog box lists references of the original sequences.
5. Perform one of the following tasks:
Select Use Original Reference to retain the references of the copied sequence.
OR
Edit the references to replace with new references in the pasted sequence instead of separately editing the references after the copy-paste operation.
6. Click to close the Advanced reference configuration dialog box.
The NC Steps dialog box opens. This dialog box lists the sequences that are copied. Using this dialog box you can modify tools and parameters of one or more sequences simultaneously.
7. To modify the tools and parameters of a single sequence, perform the following steps:
Select a sequence in the NC Steps dialog box and click Tools. The Tools Setup dialog box opens.
Modify the tools setup and close the dialog box.
Select a sequence in the NC Steps dialog box and click Parameters. The Edit Parameters dialog box opens. Modify the required parameters and close the dialog box
8. To modify tools and parameters of multiple selected sequences, perform the following steps:
Select multiple sequences in the NC Steps dialog box and click Tools. The Tools Setup dialog box opens.
Modify the tools setup and close the dialog box. The selected tool is assigned to all selected sequences.
Select multiple sequences in the NC Steps dialog box and click Parameters. The Edit Parameters dialog box opens.
The parameters of each sequence are displayed in a separate column. Modify the required parameters and close the dialog box.
9. The copied sequences are pasted in the Model Tree.
10. Repeat steps 4 through 8 to paste the copied sequence a number of times and create multiple copies of it.
