Previewing a Manufacturing Model
When you preview a manufacturing model in the Preview pane of the browser window, the model display and colors are different than when you actually open the model in Manufacturing mode:
• Datum planes, axes, points, coordinate systems, and cosmetic features are not shown.
• The workpiece is shown in Geometry color. If the manufacturing model is shown as Shaded, the workpiece is not transparent.
• You can assign another color to the workpiece, which is not green as in Manufacturing mode. On the View tab, click Appearance Gallery > Edit Model Appearances.
• Manufacturing models created between Release 18.0 and Release 2001 are shown in Wireframe.
• Preview of manufacturing models created in Release 17.0 and earlier is not available, with the appropriate message displayed in the Preview pane.
