Example: Pencil Tracing Using Horizontal Offsets
When you set horizontal offsets in pencil tracing, the stepover of the offsets of a profile are taken only from the horizontal plane. In other words, the distance between the offsets are equidistant from each other if viewed in the horizontal plane.

The following figure shows pencil tracing with the HORIZONTAL_OFFSET parameter set to NO.
