Creating and Working with Same Behavior Groups
You can create same behavior groups using any of the following methods:
By selecting the Create same behavior groups check box in the Mfg Template AE extraction dialog box when the manufacturing templates are extracted.

* If you click the Apply AutoMerge checkbox and the Create same behavior groups checkbox in the Mfg Template AE extraction dialog box, then the auto merge feature takes precedence over same behavior group feature. Hence, the merged steps are not considered while creating same behavior groups.
By selecting one or more steps from the process table and clicking Edit > Same Behavior Group > Create New Group.
By selecting a step in the process table and clicking Tools > Create Auto Same behavior group for selected step.
When you add steps to a Same Behavior group, they do not have to be consecutive or completely defined. The steps must be of the same type, because they will use the same tool and parameters.
When you include several steps into a Same Behavior group, the first step in the group becomes the leader. The tool and parameters of this step are propagated to all the other step in the group.
When you modify the tool or parameters of a leader step, the change is propagated to all members of the group. If you try to edit the tool or parameters of a step belonging to a Same Behavior group, Creo NC gives an error message that lists the name of the group and the leader step. You can edit other elements of the member steps such as orientation, retract, and so on.
To add or remove steps from Same Behavior groups, ensure that you include the Same behavior set name column to the process table using the view builder. To do this, open the view builder by clicking on the toolbar. Select Special Parameters from the Grouplist. Click Same behavior set name, and click >> to move the selected special parameter to the Displayed box. Click OK.
To add a step to an existing Same Behavior group, click the Same behavior set name cell and select the name of the group from a list. Only groups applicable to the step type are listed.
To remove a step from a Same Behavior group, click in its Same behavior set name cell and select a dash (-) from the drop-down list.
