To Retrieve and Use a Stored Query File

1. Click

or click Tools >

Find. The Search Tool dialog box opens.

2. Click Options > Retrieve Query File. The Retrieve Query File dialog box opens.

3. Select the required query file and click Open. The Search tool opens the query file.

4. In the Search Tool dialog box, ensure that values for Look in, Look for, and Look by are as required.

5. Click Find Now to obtain the results of the query. If the results are not as required, change the query parameters in the Search Tool dialog box.

While using a saved query:

• If the Look in, Look for, and Look by, values set in the saved query are not applicable in the current context, a conflict message is displayed.

• If the contents of the saved query are not applicable in the current context, the conflict is represented by a red dot before the query in the Query Builder section of the Search Tool.
