To Display a Cross Section as Hatched or Filled
To show cross section as hatched, perform one of the following steps:
• On the
Section tab, click
. The hatch pattern is displayed on the cross section.
• Right-click a cross section on the Model tree and select Show Section check box. The hatch pattern is displayed on the cross section.
To show a cross section as filled, perform the following steps:
1. Right-click a cross section on the Model Tree and click Edit Hatching. TheEdit Hatching dialog box opens.
2. If you are editing an assembly cross section, then select the parts to edit the section hatch pattern. The selected parts are placed in the collector.
3. Select Use a solid fill. When you select Use a solid fill the color button becomes available.
4. Select a color from the color palette.
5. Click Apply. A solid fill in place of a hatch pattern is applied to the surface of the cross section on the selected items. The settings are stored in the model and are available when you open the model in another session.
