To Redefine a Fastener
1. On the
Tools tab in the
Intelligent Fastener group, click
Redefine.
2. Select a component of the fastener to redefine.

Tools tab in the
Intelligent Fasteners group, click
Redefine.
If the selected element has multiple appearance then the Redefine Options dialog box opens. Select one of the following:
• Redefine all elements—to redefine all reassembled fasteners.
• Redefine only the selected element—to redefine only the selected element. In this case the relation to the group get lost.
• Click OK to continue the redefine process or click Cancel to close the dialog box and stop the redefinition.
The Screw Fastener Definition dialog box or the Dowel Pin Fastener Definition dialog box opens. Change the definition of the fastener as required.
• Click OK to accept the changes and redefine the fastener.
• Click Cancel to close the dialog box.
