To Create a Distance Measurement Parameter
1. In the
Parameter dialog box, click

|  When you are creating the bulk item, click in the Local Parameters area of the Relations dialog box. |
2. Type a new parameter name or use the default name.
3. Click the cell in the Type column. In the Type drop-down box, click Distance Measure.
4. Define the remaining bulk item parameters. Note that the User Input checkbox is automatically selected for the Distance Measure type parameter.
5. Click File > Save and click OK. The Bulk Component dialog box opens listing only parameters requiring user input.
6. Click the cell in the Value column. The Measure dialog box opens.
7. In the assembly model, select the two entities used to calculate the distance measurement.
8. Click Close. The Value cell is updated with the calculated distance measurement.
