To Move or Rotate a Project Subassembly
1. Select the subassembly to move or rotate using either of the methods below:
In the Subassemblies group, click Framework > Move. The Move Subassembly dialog box opens and theSubassembly to Move box is activated. In the assembly, select a project subassembly to move.
Select a project subassembly in the model that you want to move. In the Subassemblies group, click Framework > Move or right-click and select Framework > Move. The Move Subassembly dialog box opens.
2. Under Move, use the options listed below to move the subassembly: The movement is displayed as a preview.
—Aligns the selected surface, edge or vertex geometry element of the project subassembly with the reference curve
—Aligns the selected surface, edge or vertex geometry element of the project subassembly with a geometry element of another part that is selected in the Reference Geometry reference collector.
—Offsets the selected project subassembly by specific values
—Resets the position of the selected project subassembly
A preview of the moved subassembly is displayed.
3. Under Rotate use the options listed below to rotate the subassembly:
—Rotates the selected project subassembly by the angle indicated
—Rotates the selected project subassembly by the angle indicated
—Rotates the selected project subassembly by a specific value
—Toggles the start and end points of the selected project subassemblies
A preview of the rotation is displayed.
4. Click one of the options listed below to continue:
OK to complete the movement of the project subassembly and close the dialog box.
Repeat to complete the movement of the project subassembly without closing the dialog box and then continue with the moving of another project subassembly.
Cancel to cancel the project subassembly movement and close the dialog box.
