To Move or Rotate Profiles
1. Select the profile to move or rotate using either of the methods listed below:
Click Framework and then in the Profiles group, click Move. The Move Profile dialog box opens. Under Profiles to Move, select one or more profiles to move.
In the model, select one or more profiles to move. Click Framework and then in the Profiles group, click Move or right-click and select Framework > Move. The Move Profile dialog box opens.
2. Move the profiles by clicking one of the following options underMove. A preview of the moved profile is displayed.
—Aligns the selected profiles geometry elements, such as surface, edge or vertex, with the reference curve
—Aligns the selected profiles geometry elements, such as surface, edge or vertex, with a geometry element of another part selected in the Reference Geometry box
—Moves the selected profiles to the predefined position as represented on the icon.
—Offsets the selected profiles by specific values
—Resets the selected profiles position
3. Rotate the profiles by clicking one of the following options in the Rotate area. A preview of the rotated profile is displayed.
—Rotates the selected profiles by an angle as represented on the icon
—Rotates the selected profiles by an angle as represented on the icon
—Rotates the selected profiles by specific value
—Toggles the start and end points for the selected profiles
4. Click one of the options listed below to continue:
OK to complete profile movement and close the dialog box.
Repeat to complete profile movement without closing the dialog box and continue with moving other profiles.
Cancel to cancel profile movement and close the dialog box.
