CHANGE_NAME_PA terminate action

CHANGE_NAME_PA changes the names of a specified part or assembly. This command obsoletes the previous CHANGE_PA_NAME command.

Options

The CHANGE_NAME_PA action has the following options:

:PART_ASMB - specify the source part or assembly to be renamed.
:NAME - specify the new name of the selected part or assembly.
:MODEL_NAME - specify the new model name of the selected part or assembly.
:NEXT - changes the name of the selected part and enables you to select the next part or assembly to be renamed.

When to use

Use this action to change the names of an existing part or assembly in a graphical user interface.

Example

The following parameter sequence changes the name of "/part1" to "/part2".

CHANGE_NAME_PA :PART_ASMB "/part1" :NAME "/part2"
