SET_FACET_RESOLUTION interrupt action

SET_FACET_RESOLUTION controls the number of facets, or divisions, subsequent cylindrical, conical, spherical and toroidal surfaces will have.

Syntax

Options

This action has no options.

When to use

Use this action to control the way new curved surfaces are displayed.

This is useful when working with large models, where the factor can be set low for faster display. When an exact view has been set, the resolution can be increased again to give a more realistic display.

The default factor is 36.

Example

The following parameter sequence reduces the number of facets to the minimum possible.

SET_FACET_RESOLUTION 1
