The following options are available to machine your part.
- :PARTS - specifies the part to be bored, and the
profile to be swept.
- :WP - specifies the workplane which will be swept.
- :AXIS - specifies the axis the profile will be swept
around.
- :ROTATION_ANGLE - specifies the angle the profile
will be swept
through.
- :KEEP_WP - selects whether to keep the workplane containing the tool on completion of machining.
- :KEEP_PROFILE - selects whether to keep the profile(s) on completion of the bore operation.
When set to :NO, the workplane is cleared of 2D geometry.
Use this action to machine a part with a spun tool.
To machine a part using the BORE action,
- Enter BORE, to display the option box used to
provide information for the machining operations.
- If necessary, enter the part name, workplane name, and
angle of rotation.
The default entries specify the active part and workplane,
and a 360 degree angle of rotation.
- Use the MEAS_AXIS_3D_SA subaction to specify the axis
of rotation.
- Choose whether to keep the workplane and/or profile on completion.
- To complete the operation, click OK.
