EXTRACT_FACE terminate action

EXTRACT_FACE copies one or more faces of a part and creates a face part for each face.

Syntax

Options

The following options are available to extract a face:

:FACES - Specify the face of a part or a list of faces.
:NEW_PART - Specify the face part. Otherwise the system defaults a part name.

When to use

Use this action to extract faces from parts. That means, to create a copy of a part's face. That face part can be used for splitting (SPLIT_BY_FACE) or extruding (EXTRUDE_FACE).
