DYNAMIC_VP interrupt action

DYNAMIC_VP uses the knob box to modify your view onto the part in the specified viewport.

Syntax


---->(DYNAMIC_VP)--|viewport|--|reposition view|--|click OK|---->

Options

This action has no options. Simply select the viewport to be dynamically modified and turn the knobs. Click either the OK or CANCEL button to conclude the operation.

When to use

Use this action to interactively change a view. The knobs provide control of panning, zooming, rotation, minimum depth cue value, and clipping planes.

Turn the knobs until the desired view is displayed.

If a knob-box is not accessible to you, you can use the knob-box menu by clicking the knob button and specifying the necessary information (angle, distance, and so on).

If you interrupt this action, the menu button is greyed out until the new operation is complete.

Example

The following parameter sequence repositions a viewport.

DYNAMIC_VP [specify viewport] [click vertical rotation button] 45 [click OK]
