CREATE_LAYOUT terminate action

CREATE_LAYOUT creates a new model layout.

Syntax

Options

The following options are available to create your layout.

:NAME - defines the name of the new layout. Your string should start with a letter.
:OWNER - specifies the model (part or assembly), to own the layout.
:FRONT_DIRECTION - specifies the viewing direction for the view to be created.

When to use

Use this action to create and display the three default layout windows, used to define and create a new model layout.

By default the name, owner and front direction of the new layout are automatically defined. You can click OK to accept these default settings.
