UPDATE_LAYOUT terminate action

UPDATE_LAYOUT updates a layout or view belonging to a part or assembly.

The follow option is available:

When to use

Use this action to update a layout belonging to a part or assembly. With the :CLEAR_VIEW option, the layout data can be deleted but the views can be kept. To save processing time, use :PREVIEW to preview the layout before doing an update.

The Associative Documentation compares the active layout, to the original 2D drawing, and displays all changes.

Example

The following parameter sequence updates layout "/part1/l3angle".

UPDATE_LAYOUT "/part1/l3angle"

All layout names must be enclosed by double quotes (" ").
