STAMP terminate action

STAMP removes material from inside a profile in the normal direction of the workplane, from minus infinity to plus infinity.

Options

The following options are available to stamp a part.

:PARTS - specifies the part to be stamped. You can use the Part Browser to help you specify the parts.
:WP - specifies the workplane which will be used for stamping.
:KEEP_WP - selects whether to keep the workplane containing the tool on completion of machining.
:KEEP_PROFILE - selects whether to keep the profile(s) on completion of the stamp operation. When set to :NO, the workplane is cleared of 2D geometry.

The default STAMP control box is displayed:

Parts:        /p2
Workplane:    /w1

Supply the information as specified in the syntax diagram.

When to use

Use this action to stamp an existing part with an existing tool.

Example

The following parameter sequence stamps a part with the tool you specify. On completion, both the workplane and profile are retained.

STAMP :PARTS "/p2" :WP "/wp2" :KEEP_WP :YES :KEEP_PROFILE :YES COMPLETE

Enter COMPLETE when you have adjusted the settings. OneSpace Designer stamps the part.
