SKIN terminate action

SKIN generates a surface by interpolating a set of parameter curves that provide a mesh.

Syntax

Options

The following options are available:

:SKIN_PART - specifies the name of the part to which you want to add the skin or the name of the face part produced through the skin operation.
:EDGES - specifies the edges defining the mesh for the skin operation.
:PREVIEW - enables you to preview the result of the skin operation.
:SMOOTH - specifies that the face to be created will connect smoothly to the existing part geometry.
:CHECK_PART - automatically checks part integrity during the skin operation.

When to use

Use this action to "heal" the open side of a face part or to produce a surface based on a set of edges that make up a mesh for the skin.

Example

The following example adds a skin to a part named LAM23. The skin is smoothly connected to the existing part geometry.
