Convert text to Geometry

Overview

This tool converts selected text to geometry.

Activation

Enter into command line

   (load "am_text2geo")

Or add this line to your customization file.

Loading this file will create a button in the toolbox.

Description

After selection of one or more texts in the Creo Elements/Direct Annotation drawing the texts can be converted into simple geometry. This might be useful to create a workplane profile for 3D operations, e.g. branding a text into a model.

Notes

Once the text is converted the text commands will not work on this 'text', even when it still looks like normal text.
