Name Conventions

Each control in Creo Elements/Direct Modeling has a unique name {STRING} as handle. If you create a new control with a name of an already existing control, you silently destroy the control with the same name.
This enforces the uniqueness of names for your dialog shells, areas and controls.

As a convention, all control names should be uppercase and have a two character suffix which indicates the type of control.
