Converting the Locator for the Platform Structure Visualization
In Windchill, to configure and visualize platform structures using dynamic positioning, Windchill uses a coordinate system (CSYS) that is defined in CAD data. The CSYS is referred to as the locator in Windchill. For more information, see 動態定位與平台設計能力概觀 in the Windchill help center.
In Creo Parametric, you must assign a parameter to CSYS to identify it as the locator. The same parameter should be assigned for all locators. For more information, see 欲建立參數 in the Creo Parametric help center.
In the Creo View Adapter for Creo Parametric, update the recipe option from proe2pv.rcp that is at Parameters – Miscellaneous > Locator Filter to refer to the parameter name and value which are assigned to the locator CSYS. While publishing the representation, the Creo View adapter converts the locator information for these CSYS.
If the recipe option Datum Csys is cleared and if the Locator Filter recipe options are set, the Creo View adapter still converts the locator information of CSYS.
If the module variant assembly has locators created in the skeleton parts, the Creo View adapter converts the locators present in the immediate children skeleton parts.
