Installing Creo View for UNIX
Install Creo View on a Linux x64 machine using the workflow below.
Performing a UNIX Installation
When you download the software image from PTC.com, you receive a ZIP file. Instructions for starting the installation follow.
1. Extract the ZIP file into an empty directory where you want to install Creo View, <installer_path>.
2. Open the terminal and change the directory to the location where you copied the extracted file, <installer_path>.
3. Run the installation process by typing the following command:
sh ./creoview_unix.run
To see and use advanced installation options run the following command:
sh ./creoview_unix.run -h
4. The PTC Customer Agreement appears. Press the Space bar or PGDN to read the information.
5. Press Y and ENTER to accept the agreement, or press N and ENTER to cancel the installation.
6. Creo View is installed.
