This guide provides complete PVS Optimize Utility configuration instructions only for Windows installation because the use of pvsoptimize_config is almost exactly the same for both Windows and UNIX installations.

The difference is that UNIX users must set their X display, then browse to the <installation_directory>/bin directory and type ./pvsoptimize_config at the prompt. Once the pvsoptimize_config tool opens, all other instructions remain the same for all UNIX platforms.
