About Cross-selection of Transactions
You can use the transactions in Creo View ECAD Validate to select items in a design in Creo View, Creo Parametric, or a third-party ECAD tool. You can select an item that has been added or changed and has the following characteristics:
• ID
• Geometry
Select the item in the First Item or the Second Item. Cross-select transactions to accomplish these tasks:
• Graphically display the nature of a change or a difference
• Analyze the impact of a change or a difference in the context of the rest of the design data before accepting or rejecting it
• Instantiate the change in the native design tool
• Synchronize the native design with the all existing transaction states
To cross-select with Creo View, Cross-Select Mode must be enabled in Creo View.

When you preview an image difference, make sure to wait until the action in the viewing tool is complete before you select another transaction in Creo View ECAD Validate.
