To Set the Transparency of Parts
This procedure applies to Creo View only. The part’s render mode must be Shaded or Shaded with Edges to set transparency.
1. To make parts completely opaque or transparent, select one or more parts and then click Model Parts > Opaque or Model Parts > Transparent. The display of the part is updated.
2. To set a level of transparency, open the Part Properties dialog box in one of these ways:
Right-click and choose Edit Properties.
Click Structure > Edit Properties. The Part Properties dialog box opens. On the left, click Appearance.
In the Creo View Options, in the Model-Main active view or defaults, set the Transparency Default value.
3. In the Part Properties window, under Display Style, move the slider or type a value for the percentage of transparency in the box.
4. To revert to a previous display style, click the arrow next to Restore Display Style, and then select one of these styles:
Restore to Original—Reverts to the structure’s original display style.
Restore to Saved—Reverts to the last saved display style in the current annotation set.
