Setting Options on the LOD Details Tab
Use the LOD Details tab to configure the LOD, Level of Detail, that you set up in the LOD Setup tab. See
Setting Options on the LOD Setup Tab.

This tab is only available in admin mode.

• Under LOD Setup, select the LOD setup to configure.
• For each LOD number, you can configure the distance, location, type, minimum reduction, bound volume, decimation, and edge reduction:
◦ Distance (m)—The distance, in meters, to switch to the selected LOD from the assembly.
◦ Location—The Location, face or body, of the LOD to generate.
◦ LOD Type—The type of LOD to generate: Original, Post-Prep, Reduced, or Bound-Box.
◦ Min % Reduction—The percentage of reduction which must be achieved to retain the LOD.
◦ Bound Volume—Sets the bounding volume reduction
◦ Decimation (CH)—Configures decimal reduction tolerance as multiples of the chord height resolution.
◦ Edge Reduction (CH)—Configures edge reduction tolerance as multiples of the chord height resolution.
