Installing the Creo View MCAD Adapters on UNIX
Not all of the adapters are supported on UNIX. Check the Creo View Adapters Software Matrix to verify support before you begin.
Install the adapters from the Creo View Adapters media.
1. Copy the file creoview_adapters_unix.run to the directory where you want to install the adapters. For example /opt/ptc.
2. Open the terminal and change the directory to the location where you copied the setup file.
3. Run the installation process by typing the following command:
sh ./creoview_adapter_unix.run
To see and use advanced installation options, run the following command:
sh ./creoview_adapter_unix.run -h
4. The PTC Customer Agreement is displayed. Press the Space bar or PGDN to read the information.
5. Press Y and ENTER to accept the agreement, or press N and Enter to cancel the installation.
6. The Creo View Adapters are installed.
