Installing the Creo View Adapter for JT and the JT Import Filter
To install the Creo View Adapters for JT and the JT Import Filter, follow the steps below:
1. Extract the download archive to an empty directory and run Setup.exe. The Setup Wizard opens.
2. Click Next. The End–User License Agreement page opens.
3. Read the Terms and Conditions and select the check box.
4. Click Next. The Custom Setup page opens.
5. Select the JT Adapter and the JT Import Filter. Neither is selected by default, you must select one or both options.
6. You can change the installation directory by clocking Browse.
7. To review the disk availability, click Disk Usage.
8. Click Next. The Select Worker Daemon Configuration page opens when you select the JT Adapter. If you only select the JT Import Filter, skip to step 11.
9. When you are configuring the adapters for server-controlled publishing, and you are installing the adapter on a machine other than the Windchill server, configure the Worker Daemon.
a. Select Configure Worker Daemon as a Windows Service.
b. Accept the default port of 601 or type your Port Number in the box. The port number should be a valid integer and less than 65535.
c. Click Next.
To skip the configuration of the Worker Daemon, clear the check box.
10. Click Next. The adapters are installed.
11. Click Finish to exit the installer.
The Creo View Adapter for JT is now installed:
