Converting Model Based Definition (MBD) from Creo Parametric
When you install Creo View you receive a suggested recipe for publishing the Model Based Definition data for the Creo Parametric adapter. When you use this recipe, it results in a Creo View display of model annotations that closely resembles the display in Creo Parametric. To support the improvements in the representation of model annotations in Creo View, using this recipe configuration may result in the creation of larger files.
The recipe, proe2pv_mbd.rcp is in the Creo View Adapter installation directory, in the recipe folder. Copy proe2pv_mbd.rcp to the adapter configuration folder for Creo Parametric. Then, to use this copied file, rename it to proe2pv.rcp.
Update the following command in the recipe file as per your Creo Parametric Installation: adapter/proeCommand=C:\/Program Files\/PTC\/Creo 7.0.0.0\/Parametric\/bin\/parametric.exe, and then uncomment the file.
When using the recipe, proe2pv_mbd.rcp, the following occurs in the adapter for Creo Parametric:
