Thumbnail Generator Prerequisites for PDF Drawings
Select the following items to ensure that your system is able to run the Thumbnail Generator:
• The Thumbnail Generator must be supported on the operating system and meet the minimum requirements as shown in the Software Matrices available at:
• The thumbnail generator is no longer supported on UNIX. To convert thumbnails in server controlled publishing mode when using UNIX, you will need a remote thumbnail worker.
• Ensure that your operating system has adequate CPU and storage systems.

To specify the use of a thumbnail worker, instead of a locally installed thumbnail generator, set thumbnail.usecadagent=true in the wvs.properties file.
