The pvsoptimize utility allows you to convert or optimize the output of the Creo View structure (PVS) files and 3D geometry (OL) files. It can be used to output compressed, lightweight 3D geometry files, and also to remove varying degrees of potentially sensitive or heavyweight engineering information (intellectual property). The pvsoptimize utility supports ED, PVS, and PVZ files.

When generating Windchill Multi-Fidelity representation output, pvsoptimize.exe is used by default.
