To Set the Default Selection Method
In Creo View you can set the default selection filter for the following views:
• Model
• Illustration Viewer
• PCB Layout Viewer
• Schematic Viewer
1. Click > .
The Creo ViewOptions dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, select Defaults.
3. To set the default selection filter for the Model view, perform the following procedure:
a. On the left, under General, select Model. The Model-Main options open on the right.
b. In the Navigation section, select a Selection Method filter.
4. To set the default selection filter for the Illustration Viewer, perform the following procedure:
a. On the left, under General, select Illustration Viewer. The Illustration Viewer-Main options open on the right.
b. Select a Selection Method filter.
5. To set the default selection filter for the PCB Layout Viewer, perform the following procedure:
a. On the left, under General, select PCB Layout Viewer. The PCB Layout Viewer-Main options open on the right.
b. In the Navigation section, select a Selection Method filter.
6. To set the default selection filter for the Schematic Viewer, perform the following procedure:
a. On the left, under General, select Schematic Viewer. The Schematic Viewer-Main options open on the right.
b. Under Navigation, set filters for the following:
▪ Selection Method
▪ RSD Selection Method
7. Click Apply to apply the settings and continue setting options, or click OK to apply the settings and close the dialog box.
