To Set Measurement Options
1. Click > .
The Creo View Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, select Active View or Defaults. The options open.
3. On the left, under General, select Measurement. The General-Measurement options open on the right.
4. Under Precision, set one or more of these options:
◦ To graphically indicate approximate measurements, select the Show ‘~’to identify approximate measurement results check box.
◦ To reduce calculation time, select the Perform measurements as quickly as possible (may produce more approximate results) check box. To create only fixed measurements that may take longer to calculate, clear this check box.
|
2D Section measurements are always approximate regardless of the setting.
|
5. To show or hide units, under Display, select or clear the Show units check box.
6. To change the color of all the components of the measurement display except the label, next to Markup line color, click the color button to open the Choose Color dialog box. For more information, see To Set a Color Using the Choose Color Dialog Box.
|
Use the Markup line color to change the color of the center of gravity symbol.
|
7. To change the font size of the measurement display, under Label font size, set the font size.
8. Under Decimal Places, set the degree of accuracy for measurements:
◦ Length
◦ Angle
◦ Volume, mass and area
9. To enable measurement associativity, select Update measurements when components are moved. Markup annotations that include measurements such as summary, length, diameter, and mass properties, automatically update as the components to which these annotations are related, are moved. By default this option is not enabled.
|
• Measurement associativity is not available for Minimum Distance measurements of detected Clearance interferences during Interference Detection.
• When you enable measurement associativity, your existing, static measurements are dynamically updated. You cannot reset them.

10. Click OK.
