To Select Viewables to Compare
In an open ECAD design, you can use the shortcut menu or the
Compare Settings dialog box to select the viewables to compare. To switch the
First Item and
Second Item, in the
Compare Settings dialog box, click
.
Using the Shortcut Menu
1. In the
Viewables tab of the primary panel, right-click the first item to compare, and then select
Compare With. A list of viewables opens.
2. Use one of these methods to select the second item:
◦ Select the name of another viewable from the list.
◦ Click Browse, and then browse to a another viewable.
The Compare Settings dialog box opens with the selected viewables in the First Item and Second Item boxes.
| You can also select two viewables, right-click, and then select Compare Selected. The items appear in the Compare Settings dialog box. |
Using the Compare Settings Dialog Box
1. Click > . The Compare Items dialog box opens with the active view in the First Item box.
| To set a new First Item, select the first viewable to compare from the list. |
2. In the Second Item box, use one of these methods to select the second item:
◦ Select another viewable in the structure.
◦ Click Browse, and then browse to a viewable from a different file.
The items to compare are selected.
