To Open ECAD Comparison Results from Windchill
You can inspect the result of an ECAD comparison that is saved to Windchill in an annotation set. By default, the annotation set is applied to the active view.

You must have the required permissions for the project to view an annotation set with ECAD comparison results.

Open one of the compared designs, or open the annotation set only. This topic contains a procedure for opening a design or an annotation set and a procedure for applying the annotation set to a different view.
To Open Comparison Results
1. In Windchill, choose to open a design that contains the annotation set, or open the annotation set only:
◦ Design—Select the design, and then click Open in Creo View. The Creo View client opens.

You can also copy the design to the clipboard, and then click Open in Creo View from the clipboard.

◦ Annotation set only—on the Content tab, select the annotation set, and then click Open in Creo View. The Creo View client opens.
2. In
Creo View, in the primary panel, click
Annotation Sets. The
Annotation Sets pane opens.
To Apply the Annotation Set to a Different View
When you have more than one view open in
Creo View, you can select the view to apply the annotation set. When click
Open in Creo View, the
Creo View client opens and the
Annotations-
Settings dialog box opens. For more information, see
