Compare a PCB Layout viewable to a Gerber overlay. In the Quick Results view, you can perform these operations:

• Align the viewables

• Control visibility of the overlay, the PCB sublayers, or both

• Set options

• Search

Because the overlay is not searchable, the results come only from the PCB Layout.

In a Quick Results view only, on the Compare ribbon, use these strategies to align the viewables:

Align—Select a point on each viewable to align. For more information, see To Align an Overlay by Aligning Vertices.

Rotate Left,

Rotate Right,

Flip Vertically, and

Flip Horizontally—Turn and mirror the overlay to match the PCB Layout. For more information, see To Align an Overlay by Rotating or Flipping.
