To Create Queries for Color Coding
1. Open an MCAD model.
2. Click Tools > . The Color-coded Search dialog box opens.
3. In the Query name box, type or select a name for the search.

This Query name is saved in a different folder to Search > Query name items.
4. Under Assign colors to queries, click Add Condition. A condition line appears in the box.
5. Populate the condition line:
Under Color, click the button. The Manage Colors box opens. Select a color.
Under Condition Type, select Named. The Search Name list is populated with Search > Query name items.
To attach defined search criteria to the query, select a Query name item from the Search Name list.
To define new search criteria, click Refine. The Search Product Structure dialog box opens.
6. Under Assign colors to queries, click Add Condition to add another condition line to the box.
7. Click Show matched multiple search conditions in. The Manage Colors box opens. Select a color. This color can include search results of items from more than one color category.

If a face is associated with more than one model annotation accommodated by different queries, the face is assigned the matched multiple search color.
8. Click Apply, then OK. The search results appear in the Results tab of the Navigator.
