To Configure ECAD Tooltips
1. Click File > Options.
The Creo View Options dialog box opens.
2. Next to Showing, select Global.
3. On the left, under PCB Layout Viewer, select Tooltips. The Tooltips options open.
4. Select or clear one or more of the following check boxes:
◦ Show tooltips—Displays tooltips.
◦ Exclude overlays and images—Displays tooltips of objects on design layers, but not tooltips of the overlays.
◦ Exclude planes and conductive figures from preselection of nets—Prevents large objects from being highlighted when you move the pointer over them. This does not affect the selection highlighting.
5. To edit a tooltip:
a. In the Tooltip editor, double-click a tooltip or right-click and choose Edit Tooltip. The Edit Tooltip dialog box opens.
b. Type text for the tooltip. To include attribute names and values in tooltips, see To Insert an Attribute Name, Value, or Both.
c. Click OK. The Edit Tooltip dialog box closes.
6. In the Creo View Options dialog box, click OK.
The ECAD tooltips are configured.
