Setting Object Detection Levels
To control the comparison of objects or images, you can set parameters for Schematic and PCB Layout views. The default value of the object tolerance and image tolerance levels is 0.50 mil or its equivalent in the specified units. The value must be from 0.25 mil to 500.00 mil or the equivalent.
• If the tolerance is set too high, differences in small objects may not be detected.
• If the tolerance is set too low, differences of component boundaries may not be detected. Boundaries are typically zero-width lines.
When compared, boundaries are treated as lines of 1 pixel in width. Use the object comparison to find moved components.
