About Placed Symbols
Mechanical symbols in designs from Cadence Allegro files are called placed symbols in Creo View. Work with placed symbols in these ways:
• View and select them in the
Placed Symbols partition of the
Substructure pane.
• Include them in a Design Statistics report.
• Compare them using the Compare tool.
• Cross-select them between Creo View ECAD, Creo View MCAD, and Creo View ECAD Validate.
Placed symbols are excluded from a bill of materials.
